I've just been over at the forum, which some of you may not have heard about as yet. I have posted a link to it, under the Links section on my sidebar, so you can click over from there.
Today I've had little time to spend online, so I am getting a late start.
The new forum is still very much under construction, but I am hoping more of you will sign up and participate if you are so inclined.
We seem to be getting a slow start but these things take time, so I have to beg your patience. I do hope to continue my usual pace of blogging, so I trust I won't be spreading myself too thin with the forum and the blog.
My hope is that with enough participation from readers that the forum will take on its own momentum and will not require as much of my time and attention as my blog activity.
I am still hoping for some suggestions or feedback from readers as to what subjects you would like to discuss at the forum (or here on the blog, for that matter), or what forums and subforums should be set up there. Should the forum be called the same name as the blog, or would something else be more appropriate? I would like it to be a forum primarily focusing on the traditionalist conservative/paleoconservative viewpoint, but not limited to people of those predilections. However I would hope that a group of fairly like-minded people, such as we have for the most part on the blog, will gather to discuss a variety of topics of interest to conservatives.
I especially hope we will continue the discussions on political correctness and the racial inquisition that is going on, because as we all know there are few venues where we can discuss those things in a civil and yet open manner. I would also hope that we can continue the discussion on conservatism, and the crisis it is in, especially as regards the GOP's straying from anything resembling conservatism.
There are a great many things worth discussing and the forum provides a way for those of you who sign up to initiate topics and to post links to articles.
