I am feeling distinctly uninspired as to blogging ideas, though there are a number of newsworthy things to write about.
For instance, the nuclear arms control agreement just signed, the 'cap-and-trade' proposal, or perhaps most urgent, the proposed ''hate crimes'' legislation.
And then there's the resurrected amnesty bill, with an unholy alliance of groups and people attempting once again to circumvent the will of the majority in this country.
There's no lack of issues that deserve discussion, and maybe that's part of the problem. There are so many things going on that it tends to overwhelm, if we think about it. It could be that's part of the strategy, to scatter people's energies, or to simply overload us with all these radical proposals at once.
And I haven't even mentioned the proposed health care overhaul, which I am convinced would be disastrous, and would diminish regard for human life even further.
