Several years ago, on a certain forum which I frequented at that time, there was a discussion that turned to the omnipresent 'thug culture' or gangsta culture that has gone worldwide, via the rotten and corrupt media.
Another commenter there mentioned that when he was young, many years ago, and (like many young men in a rebellious phase), he affected black slang and mannerisms. He related how his father, very sternly and firmly, told him ''You are White. And you are a gentleman. Never forget that.'' That ended the incipent wiggerism on the part of that young man.
How many of our young people today need to hear that?
I thought of that story when I saw the Liberty University video at James Edwards' blog.
Apparently Liberty, like much of the apostate church today, is following after the fads and trends of the decaying world, and not separating from it as the church is supposed to do. We all know that the church has been targeted by the Left for many decades, if not longer, and it has now pretty much surrendered, by the look of things.
However that video looks almost wholesome by comparison with the videos from the Notting Hill Carnival in the UK. I am sure many of you have come across the rather repellent videos (there are more than one) in which young White women are presenting themselves like female primates in estrus, to random men at the carnival. It almost makes one believe that maybe Darwin was right; maybe some among us are descended from the primates.
Warning: the video is crude and vulgar, and may offend.
The behavior of these girls (where are their mothers? How did they grow up so feral?) is disgusting and distressing. I am sure drugs and/or alcohol play a part in their degradation, but we all know it goes deeper than that.
When I was a child there was a great deal of controversy among parents about rock 'n roll. Some of the conservative older folk used to say that rock 'n roll was lowdown and vulgar. They said that it was meant to encourage lewdness and loose behavior, as they used to call it. It destroyed inhibitions and led to more rebellious behavior. Above all, many of the older folk said that it was 'jungle music' and that it would lead to mingling of the races.
Of course the people promoting the music denied it; rock 'n roll was just good clean fun; it had nothing to do with sex, said they. And of course many young people scoffed at our elders as being old fogies who wanted to stop us from having fun.
Fast-forward 30 years or so, and in a rock documentary, various people involved in the rock music scene cheerfully said YES, rock was all about sex. Young White people were so repressed and uptight; they needed 'black-inspired' music to loosen them up and release their sexuality, so these rock industry people smilingly said.
Rock of the 1950s seems pretty tame today, but it was like a 'gateway drug', that led on to harder-core stuff. There is a direct line from that seemingly harmless fun teen music to rap, and the overt sexuality that is displayed in what passes as 'dancing' among the younger generation. A young female friend told me a few years ago that nobody her age really dances anymore; they just do the grinding and 'freaking' of the kind you see in that nasty video. And this is a Christian young lady who told me that.
I grew up with rock; I still have a lot of rock music in my collection. Granted it did not corrupt everybody that listened to it but it had an effect on our society that overall was not good. I am sure the powers-that-be purposely used rock music to help break down inhibitions and racial distinctions back then, and now we are seeing the long-term fruits of that. We have a very dissolute youth culture, one that is exerting a strong influence on our children.
I believe that music is not neutral; certain kinds of music have definite effects on people. Some forms of music are more cerebral and more spiritual, evoking higher feelings, and some are more base and lascivious in nature. I think we all intuitively understand that. Music is not neutral. Some music stimulates our lower natures. Some music almost behaves as a drug.
And now that the sexual inhibitions are all but destroyed, the racial boundaries have to be completely obliterated too.
I think it was Cambria Will Not Yield who wrote of 'sexual Babylon' and 'racial Babylon' and how they go together. It's becoming increasingly obvious.
Those of us with adolescent or young adult children need to admonish them that they are ''White, and gentlemen' or 'ladies.'
And keep them, as much as possible, away from the libertine and increasingly feral culture that is all-pervasive now.
